Morden Eagles Development Soccer 2024 Outdoor Season
We are gearing up for an action-packed outdoor soccer season in 2024, and we're thrilled to announce the launch of their Development Soccer Program catered to U11/U12 boys. As a member club of the Manitoba Soccer Association, Morden Minor Soccer is known for providing top-quality soccer experiences for youth in the region, aligning with the Canada Soccer Association’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) guidelines.
The program is designed to offer more than the typical recreational play found in house leagues, focusing on skill development and competitive play. With a 9v9 format consistent with Canada Grassroots Standards, players can expect an engaging and challenging experience.
What's Included?
Participants in the development soccer program will benefit from a well-rounded training regimen. Practices are set to commence on April 1st, 2024, starting indoors at the Meridian Exhibition Centre every Monday at 4:30 p.m. Additional indoor practices will be held in school gymnasiums until weather permits outdoor sessions. In May, outdoor practices will ramp up in preparation for the WYSA Boston Pizza Players Tournament. The technical team also plans to organize Friendly Matches with other U12 development teams across the province.
How to Get Involved?
Parents eager to enroll their children in this exciting program should mark their calendars for the evaluation sessions on Monday, March 25th. Two sessions are scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 5:25 p.m. at the Meridian Exhibition Centre in Winkler. The evaluation fee is $5, payable in cash on the day of the session. Registration for evaluations closes on Monday, March 18, 2024.
